Disco Dave is not just a spiffy dancer he is also a car guy

This Corvette is the car Disco was driving when he first met Disco Pam. I wonder if it was the car or the dancing that caught Pam

These are not all of Disco’s cars, just the photos he could find. Check out his current Hot Rod, a 1954 Chevy hardtop at Burger Time on Saturday.

I’m sure Disco will be in costume this Saturday Oct 27 2012, at trunk or treat, drop by and get an autograph

Silver Auto Auction 2010 Sun Valley Idaho

GTO Road Trip to Sun Valley! It was a beautiful day for a road trip…here are a few highlights from the auction. In the next couple of days you can see more at http://hotrodhigh.zenfolio.com.

First car across the auction block was a Porsche Speedster replica (on a ’70 VW chassis)  – sold for $10,400.

1948 Packard Woody

Those Corvette guys always go for the Blondes!

This ’53 Chevy was bid to $5,300 but didn’t sell.

Mr. Norm’s

OHC 6 Cyl Firebird sold for $11,750

Jaguar XK 120 roadster sold for $77,500. The MGTD with a Judson Supercharger sold for $25,500. Both great deals for the buyers!

Bubblegum pink VW Thing – they claim it’s “the perfect car for Sun Valley.”

’40 Ford Woody replica on a Suburban chassis…not my cup of tea nor anyone else’s as it didn’t sell. It was bid to $55,000 but needed $70,000 to sell.

’54 Ford Crestliner, mild custom, 292 T-bird engine – was bid to $9,000 but didn’t sell. (needed $15k to sell)

This Mustang convertible was being bid on by a young lady whose limit was $10,000, but it went for $10,100.

If you were late booking a room, these deluxe accommodations are all that were left!

It’s always fun to go to the Sun Valley auction on the green, check out the cars, talk to old friends, have a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy the day!
